If you’re new to AIP (or even if you’ve been at it for quite a while), you might be worried that you have to resign yourself to eating a small rotation of the same few tired foods for the rest of your life and reduce yourself to eating grain-free, nut-free breads and pasta that do little more than remind you that you can’t eat the real thing without throwing yourself into a terrible flare up. It can be downright depressing to not be able to eat all of your favorite comfort foods when you want them most (white potatoes! Baguettes slathered in creamy cheeses! Pasta with a simple tomato sauce!) but the AIP diet doesn’t have to feel restrictive at all. No one needs to feel deprived, hungry, or dissatisfied while they’re healing their body. Yes, you’ll have to muddle through a few hard weeks of sugar, dairy, and carb withdrawal, but once that’s out of your system, you’ll notice that there are hundreds of ridiculously delicious dishes that fall comfortably within the parameters of the paleo autoimmune protocol. I’m working on an AIP category to put into the main menu of my home page, but for now, I want to whet your appetite with all of the paleo autoimmune protocol recipes I have on the site so far. Enjoy!
