While it is generally recognized that cooking from raw (and, by raw, I mean unprocessed or processed very little) ingredients, I am not a medical professional and do not make any medically related claims for specific individuals visiting this site. What may be healthy for one person isn’t necessarily healthy for another, so use your best judgement. Some recipes on this site call for the use of raw eggs (such as custards) and some will call for meat to be cooked to various levels of doneness, not all of which are FDA-approved. Again, use your judgement, especially if feeding young children or pregnant women.
Any product recommendation is given based upon my own research and testing of the product. I am not paid or otherwise compensated for any product that I recommend.
Any recipes that may appear on Nicole Elizabeth/thefreshkitchen that are not of my own creation are credited to the author in the recipe. This will appear either in the paragraph/paragraphs preceding the recipe, just under the recipe title, or both. For a more in-depth explanation, read this article by David Lebovitz.
Some of the links that appear in my posts and recipes are Amazon affiliate links, meaning that I receive a small commission if a reader clicks that link and then purchases something through Amazon. I use Amazon mainly because they are easy to use and carry pretty much any kitchen tool you could ever need, and my personal experiences with them have been largely positive. As of February 2014, this is the only place I have the potential of earning any commission on this site. Any changes to this will be reflected here.
